While the Bible has been the most widely read of all books in history with over 100 million distributed every year in the world and up to 5 billion copies printed over the past 400 years, much of today’s generation has not heard these life and soul changing truths.
It was widely thought throughout history that no person could call themselves educated without an understanding of the Bible. The truths of the Bible and the story of Jesus Christ has changed human history, culture, laws, art and music more than any other. Christmas, Easter, Laws and constitutions, moral standards and even the calendar itself are all defined by Jesus Christ and the Bible. Even those who do not believe the truths contained, still feel that it is unintelligent to remain in ignorance of the most famous of all writings.
The Bible presents the human story from creation, through the history of mankind, to the amazingly accurate predictions of the future which are coming true today (see end times Bible prophesy classes). Most importantly, it presents the key to mankind’s access to God and to eternal life, salvation, through the greatest story ever told in the history of the world, which is the Gospel of Jesus Christ – that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, voluntarily died on the Cross as a sacrifice that provides for the forgiveness of the sins of the world, and rose again on Easter Sunday, providing eternal life in heaven to all those who simply trust in Him and follow the teachings of the Bible.
It doesn’t matter who are you are or what your reason. All are welcome to come and learn, meet new people, ask questions, share experiences and have their heart and soul transformed through the eternal hope that is contained in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, as taught from the Gospel of John, the Gospel of Mark and Romans. We are based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada but have participants who join us from across Canada and around the world.
Jesus said the following things to the world and to you:
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me,
Because He has anointed Me
To preach the gospel to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives
And recovery of sight to the blind,
To set at liberty those who are oppressed.” (Luke 4:18)
“Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.” (Revelation 3:20)
“Trust in Jesus and you will be saved…” (Acts 16:31)
