Romans
(every Monday beginning Sept 13, 2021 from 7:00-8:00 PM)
Romans is a foundational book that lays out the great teachings of the Christian faith and has been the most influential book in church history. This interactive 10-week class will cover in depth chapters 1-8, a life-changing portion of Scripture. Some of the topics covered include: the condition and resulting dilemma of mankind; the characteristics of God that govern our future; why we need God’s salvation; the solution to our need for salvation through faith in Jesus Christ, and how the believer is freed from sin, law, and death to live a victorious Spirit filled life.
A practical book, Romans answers questions all believers face, such as: What is the good news of the Gospel of God and what does it mean? What does it mean to be “born again” and have an identity in Christ? How important is obedience and sin in the Christian life? After salvation, how do we overcome our sinful desires and live a victorious life free from bondage?
This course is for both new Christians and people who have been long time followers. There is no cost and study materials will be provided.

Gospel of John
The Gospel of John’s unique spiritual emphasis on the divinity of Jesus Christ as the Son of God and its powerful message of salvation have made it one of the most influential books in the Bible.
While the other three gospels portray Jesus as the King, Servant, and the Son of Man, John portrays Jesus as the divine and human Son of God. The purpose of the Gospel of John is for readers to know: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16.

Gospel of Mark
(every Thursday beginning Sept 16, 2021 from 7:00-8:00 PM)
Mark is the first gospel written containing the life, teachings, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. It answers the two critical questions that every human needs to know: Who Jesus is, and what did He come to do for us. Mark’s gospel was inspired by the Apostle Peter, and shows Jesus as a servant Christ, illustrating both the power and the compassion of the Son of God. We’ll explore the deeper meanings of 19 miracles, 9 parables and what it means to be a follower of Christ, in a journey to the Cross that is sure to strengthen your faith and Christian life.
Jesus Christ’s death on the Cross and resurrection are the most important events in history. Understanding why Jesus would come to be betrayed and brutally killed, and why Almighty God would allow it, is central to the Gospel of Mark. But there is more to learn from this familiar story that will affect how you follow Jesus.
